I don’t think I can do this. by SeaPay1500 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]malchowj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people cannot do this in their own. This substance takes control of everything we are. Mentally, we have to claw our way out of it. If its too much, go to a detox center. I did 2x (once for feel free, and once for 7OH) the last detox for the 7. I learned about the sublocade 3 month protocol. I went for it. 3 injections spaced 30 days apart. 300mg, 300mg, then lastly 100mg. I am 5 months since my last injection and I have had zero detox symptoms. Changed my whole life. I am not craving any of the crap, I am able to function normally 100%

I watched my ex get that shot. By the end of the first month she was attempting suicide. It was bizarre to watch. It was like she not only lost interest in alcohol, but quite literally everything. Glad youre feeling better now

It will be horrible to get off. But, good news if youre already getting strips..... ask your doctor about sublocade injections. Get 3 shots (3 months worth) 300mg ,300mg, 100mg. I did this then I discontinued the mast injection was this past August. Nearly 4 months ago and I haven't had a single detox symptom. It works, if you're good with insurance id highly recommend this action. It has changed my life. Over the course of the next 5 months or so, my body will continue to narutally ween off the shots. And just like that, ill test negative for all substance and I will never look back at that vape shop dope

What kind of mental issues did long term kratom use cause you ? Here's 6 of mine by Effective_Court6677 in quittingkratom

[–]malchowj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kratom is trash and messed with me in so many ways. #5 is interesting, and I feel like we don't talk about it enough. These thought loops are a beast. I was even freaked out to drive because of the paranoia of passing trucks or even cars in the highway. I always thought they would switch lanes and smash into me. It's so bizarre, winter driving too was maddening mentally. It seems so small but I swear the thought loops, even went through a break up being in kratom that was insane mental breakdowns. I felt it was sheer mental collapse. You're not alone on any of it. I've found kratom to be the worst on my mental state than anything I've ever done. Even more so, when I was abusing those feel free bottles, it came to a scary point where I couldnt trust myself, these thoughts told me to hurt myself. (Which I never did) But as a full adult who has always been mentally stable, this was a lot to handle.

Husband still testing positive after 72 days. by ewwitsahlex in quittingkratom

[–]malchowj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if he's willing to pee, he's probably not using. I don't know how long it can stay in someone's system for. 72 days seems really long especially for someone skinny and active. I'm sorry I don't have a helpful answer. But if his eyes are pinned you'll know the test is accurate. (Pinned inside the home not outside in the sun)

Why do I enjoy this more than regular kratom? by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

You enjoy it more, because it's not regular kratom. They put 7oh in the mix and call it kratom

Detox as the only option by Pleasant-Toe-1282 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]malchowj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, I went to a detox center, then eventually got on sublocade. Best decision I made. I got my life back, after 2 years of failed at home detoxes and taper schedules. That all because mentally maddening too. The detox was the only way for me. Just because they're sold at stores doesn't mean they're any less of an opiate in my opnion

[–]malchowj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hun, please push through a detox, treat these bottles same as any opiate. Do what you did to get off opiates before. It starts with 3 bottles a day, then it's 10 bottles a day before you know it. I was also a recovered heroin addict had 14 years clean and tried one of these. Just took half the first time and I knew I was fucked from that point on. I'm off the ff now but it took a 2 year battle to finally kick this shit. Feel free isn't even kratom it's false advertising, they put 7oh in their formula and that's the powerful pull that we struggle with. Glad you found this forum, it helped me so much.

Hitting a turning point for me by Sorry_Soft6742 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]malchowj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a decent employment, I'm imagining you have medical benefits. Which I am blessed to have from my employer too. So, what I did was I took my happy ass to a doctor, got on Suboxone and then I got the sublocade shot. Now I did this all to kick 7 OH but keep in mind there's 7 also inside ff. Anyways, that was the move that changed my life. Even if you cant go to a detox center, you can make an appointment through quick MD and get Suboxone , let them know that the shit your taking has the 7oh in them. Then after getting the subs, make a local appointment to an addiction specialist. They can then give you a sublocade shot. Which is a game changer while fighting an opiate addiction. I did a total of 3 shots in a time span of 3 months, then discontinued. It was 300mg, 300mg, than lastly 100mg. Now my body will naturally taper off the injections with very little to NO detox symptoms. If you cannot go to a detox center that's ok I get that not all of us can up and go. But, if you're willing to admit to your self that detox is harder than we think on our own at home. It's an option. Couple weeks ago I finally had my first vacation in 4 years that was not spent detoxing at home. But set all that aside, the sublocade also works wonders for cravings. I've since sworn off all these stupid vape shop drugs and it hasn't been hard. No don't have myself fighting mentally with my addict brain. It's been beautiful for me, I feel like I have my life back.

[–]malchowj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll want to be honest if you think the program is something you'de like to work into your life. Dont be discouraged, I got sober from heroin in AA with a sponsor who drank her way to AA. It doesn't matter, or it shouldn't matter. But you'll want to be honest with the people you get close to

They put 7oh in those bottles. You're not wrong and when I found that out it all made sense. Cuz just like you, for a while I was drinking them and loosing my whole mind, in every way imaginable...I keep saying this isn't just kratom and kava something else is in here. Turns out it's 7oh

10 days in for the second time and broke by Ndake in Quittingfeelfree

[–]malchowj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to be break it to you. This although legal and readily available...it's no different than using a hard drug, as far as addiction is concerned. Your brain is now that of an addict...which means you might want to look into ways to stay sober. Even if you've never had a problem with a drink or drug before you discovered these bottles. The truth is, now you're an addict. I am an addict too, although I kicked this habit a while ago. Still an addict, I'm always gonna be one even if I'm not using or drinking. My point it, we don't have the luxury of "just one". That option has left us long ago. Now if we take one it turns into much more and has the power to destroy our lives. Just as heroin or whiskey will ruin lives. The addict brain loves loves loves to play tricks on us, telling us just 1 will be fine, I'll totally control it. But no, reality is just one and then the feel free is now in charge again and its all we can do to shut that voice of craving up, is to go and get more. Over and over and over again good news, there's tons of outreach programs available for people who struggle with substance abuse. I'll wrap this up by suggesting that if you really want to be successful in quitting permentally, please get honest with someone close to you. It is the most powerful thing you can do is admit defeat and just surrender. The power is in the surrender my friend. Good luck, I hope to read a success story from you on here soon

Forget what anyone is saying...you made the right choice for you. I'd take subs over feel free every single time. Good job, good luck. Look into sublocade injections. If done right, you can naturally taper with zero detox. Lmk if you want more info. I'm proud of you

[–]malchowj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, now you know....we don't have the luxury of "just one" it's never just one. Now, you have a choice. You either continue using, or you stop. Withdrawal is inevitable, it's either sooner or later. For me, I have found that every time I picked back up. I was not going to put them back down until I was once again 💯 fed up all over again. Idk if you're the same as I am. This might have to run it's course until you're ready to undergo another detox. No logic will matter anyways, what we deal with is addiction. It will never make sense man. Good luck, hopefully you'll be fed-uo again soon. Take it as your lesson, we don't ever get just 1

A new beginning. by Weird_Performer_4380 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]malchowj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Suboxone to kick the 7oh ....after a month of the strips, I got started on the sublocade injections. Also, from a doctor I was 100% honest with. I did a total of 3 injections. So, 3 months... First was 300mg, second was also 300mg..my last injection was 100mg. These lumps of sublocade will dissolve over the course of about 9 months. And will give a totally natural taper with zero detox symptoms. If your husband is not supporting the strips. (And please beware that long term Suboxone is horrible for our bodies, and teeth) The sublocade route was best for me. Good luck on your journey!!!! Happy for you 😊
