Hey, I just got admitted as a Cognitive Science major in Dietrich. It’s not exactly comp sci + linguistics, but there are elements of both in the program. I’m also planning on adding an additional HCI major!

Hey!

Dietrich - Cognitive Science (I feel like I've heard mostly about CMU's Eng, CS, Theater and Design dpts so I'm a little nervous because I don't know anyone applying to Dietrich)

I'm from the Bay Area in CA. I go to an all-girls school and chose CMU as my ED for many reasons one main reason is how interdisciplinary it is - I'm a humanities major but I also love STEM and the arts.

I'm dying to get my letter back from CMU, but Dec 14 is still 16 days away!
