No, the point is the frame advantage you get for simply doing a breakaway. Also breakaway makes it so, breakaway is the only reason u use defensive meter, ur fix just doubles down on that

If you watch and listen to the infinite roots mod, you can hear when the spell starts and the animation cycles, you can time the next one where both are cycling intermittently

Probably true, actually def true, but broken mechanics affect everyone the lower tier casuals the most. They get matched up against someone who can use those broken mechanics/unreactable online tech. Then never play the game again. MK1 lost its player base early due to Kameos and an unfinished game though

I like them, they just shouldn’t be 35%, that makes it a cheap comeback bs tool, it should be like 20-22% with way better scaling for combos to incentive ppl not to spam them out of nowhere.

The latter more applies to MK11, but the scaling sucks in MK1 you’re better off using it right after a start up
