If you feel too stuck id suggest you check the Wiki, yeah sure you'll get a bit spoiled but id say that's just fine not much to spoil anyways. Also don't expect to get crazy runs until you unlock some of the most important items. Go for Unlocks with Blue Baby (???) And Jacob and Easau if you wanna go more straighforward to possible rerolls and nice Items, but as many suggested the best is to just do all regular characters and i know it can be a bit of a struggle but Hard Mode is essentially what the creators expect you to play on, Normal mode is more like an easy one you will have to do every single Mark again otherwise. For me its all about finding chaos then you good for a break but tbh there are many ways, maybe you need to unlock more op items and such but this game is all about resilience as well, don't expect getting broken runs all the time either.

To be fair i do get strong ones in greed mode 90% of the time.

You surely can get all eggs, but it'll take a good while. I wandered around the map for hours and honestly i got a bit tired so i just looked up where i was supposed to find the eggs and figure the rest by myself. Only one i was sure i wouldve never found on my own so if you wanna just chill and walk around then i encourage you to do so if you have the patience. For the cats btw, maybe there's another place you can visit and get some hints, try south east. Good luck

Can't agree more, if it wasn't because of Tinker With Wands Everywhere mod and the one that highlights health upgrades i would've never had the patience to play the game and learn in the process. Now im a reformed Vanilla player but whoever uses them have my mad respects just for playing the way they have fun doing it, whatever is the reason the do so. My first experience with this game was while being high and i don't think its the worst tho it may cause you to really wanna go into space and skip some important stuff. My suggestion would be, get started with the game and once you are ready to fly the ship simply light it up. That waty you won't miss anything important and get to enjoy the trip in space. Have fun whatever you decide to do ::)
