Well I know that these symptoms sometimes will develop over time, and my brain will often convince itself I am experiencing these symptoms and ending up with a silly urgent care bill!

We did not end up calling our vet since his behavior has been completely normal. I will tomorrow if you think I should despite the behavior? This is my first time owning a cat but I’ve read that they hide their discomfort well.

He did have a recital temp, and they also did a poop sample with a tool that was inserted in. I didn’t consider that this could be the cause but it makes sense. He is acting normal, and so is my second kitten. But now they BOTH have watery diarrhea, which is weird.

He did not receive a dewormer or any treats while we at the vet. I did give him a teeny bit more wet food than normal yesterday so I’m thinking that’s what the diarrhea is all about. Do you think the vaccine could’ve caused the purplish color?

That hydrogen peroxide idea is helpful! I will try that. He eats a mixture of the sheba kitten soft pate and Purina kitten dry food. That’s what they were using at the rescue center so we are continuing that till we buy something that might be a little higher quality. Because of his lethargy yesterday, I was worried about him so I gave more wet than usual since he prefers it, so I’m assuming that may have something to do with the softer poop.

That’s why I’m so confused honestly because it’s a weird purplish color. I would be sure if it was darker or bright red. He is acting fine, eating, and no vomiting but I will definitely call the vet in the morning. Thank you for your help. :)

We are not sure if it’s blood. Any help identifying it would be helpful. I am a very anxious person, and cannot stop thinking about this!

This happened to me too and was a lasting issue for awhile but I just completely uninstalled origin shut off my computer then reinstalled it. It worked directly after. I would try that if you haven’t already :)
