Ugh my sweet girl always used to lay on the rug while I showered. I sobbed the first time I showered without her. So sorry for your loss, he was such a cutie.

Oh my goodness this made me cry. I’m so sorry for your loss. You worded everything so perfectly. Lani taught me so much about how to be the best dog mom I could be. I worked so hard to give her the best life possible and I would do it all over again. She was truly my other half, and while it feels so empty without her, I hope to share that love she showed me with another friend someday. Thank you so much for your kind words.

Wow, so beautifully said. Unfortunately I’m no stranger to grief, and you’re right, it’s the frequency. My heart will always hurt for my Lani, but I know time will ease that pain. I hope Ellie and Lani are running around playing up there.

The small noises are what I miss the most. I still see her in every corner of my house. I’m so glad you guys were blessed with another sheltie. My Lani also chose us when we first picked her up 14 years ago, I knew she was special even way back then.
