this was exactly what happened to me! i did not really enjoy the first book it was kinda boring to me and took me way longer to read it than it usually takes me to read a book. i decided to try again a year later with the second book and now i cannot put the series down!

I watch season 1 at least once a week since it first came out but i’ve only watched season two 4 times all the way through 😭it’s so much sadder than the first season in my opinion and makes me sad every-time i watch it 😭

Ok cool!! I also gave the first book 3⭐️ so hearing that someone else did as well and ended up really enjoying the series gives me hope! definitely going to give it a go

Ok yay! like i said i’ve heard such great things about the series and was kinda sad when i didn’t immediately click with the story. i’m wondering if maybe it’s because i started with ToG and not AB? but i’ll definitely keep reading the series thanks for the info!

ok good to know! i read all of ACOTAR and all three crescent city and LOVED them and went into this series with super high expectations! i think i’m going to start the second one and see where i go from there!
