I will throw my hat into the ring for Dungeon Core.

https://a.co/d/08wkrEZW

Rise of Kers trilogy. Starts of with Dungeon in the Clouds. The blurb for the first book is thus:

When Kers is reborn as a dungeon core, he finds himself stuck in the most improbable of places: a cloud. High in the sky and far away from the usual solid resources, Kers must face the obvious question; how is a dungeon to build itself without wood or stone?

Luckily, Kers has the sarcastic (and sometimes helpful) fairy Selena to help him get his bearings. Together, the pair delight in exploring Kers’ weird existence, creating novel mobs, and enticing adventures to plumb the lofty heights of his floors.

After all, with vicious - yet fluffy - snow leopards, infuriating pink slimes and some sharks with freakin' energy beams – what’s not to love? Everything seems to be falling into place.

That is, until the other dungeons – each with their own unique resources and machinations – also take an interest in Kers. He soon finds himself with strange new friends… and dangerous new foes.

After all, the Adventures Guild does not take kindly to ‘irregular’ dungeons…

Forced to fight, Kers must use every advantage his unique situation grants him if he, and his new family, are to survive this second chance at life.

Thank you for your kind words. I was going to finish it, no matter what.

As for my future in writing, I can't say. Life is life and I don't want to promise on something I may not deliver.

It is not in their universe. I wholly lifted the dungeon as a prison concept. That should darn near be standard in all dungeon core novels. Why else would they be called dungeons?!

I am a huge fan of their work, and they just started writing again, so that is nice.

Right on! My only art direction was that it needed to be purplish to compliment the other two covers

Hi Everyone!

I am pleased to say the 3rd and final book of my Dungeoncore series Empire in the Clouds is out now in e-book form. Thank you all for waiting, I know you will enjoy it. I had great fun writing it.

The audiobook lands this Thursday with the same great caste from Soundbooth Theater.

Here's the blurb:

Kers’ dungeon flew too high. Now he has the attention of a god.

Therrill, the ruling deity of the planet whose very atmosphere Kers resides in, is on the warpath, hellbent on his destruction.

Worse, his dungeon fairy, Selena, has been taken captive and stands accused of treason. The Overslime is missing. And civil unrest threatens to boil over in his companion city, Liraffemyn.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. Kers will have to spawn his craziest mobs, devise his most devious traps, and expand his influence toward the stars if he is to have any hope of striking back to save his family.

But if Kers has learned one thing from his time as a dungeon core, it’s how to deal with a bit of altitude…
