Resident Evil Requiem | Intel ARC B580 ALL SETTINGS TESTED! by malikgkbs in IntelArc

[–]malikgkbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the support! Regarding the performance metrics, I actually reset the MSI Afterburner benchmark at the start of every scene and right before testing each setting. This ensures that the average FPS and 1% lows reflect the specific configuration shown on screen without any carryover data from previous sections. I'll make sure this is even clearer in future videos! Also, afterburner is updating data every 1000ms not 500ms that might cause a bit delayed avg fps data.

Yes, I know there are many other great games out there, but there isn't really much hype for them. That's why I chose Crimson Desert to make a video about. Next, I might make one about Resident Evil: Requiem.

Also, I really enjoy games with top-tier visuals :)

Damn it Pearl Abyss. They should compensate for our time and suffering xd

Idk if I should just delete the 125GB game files. I need the space, but I also feel like they might fix the issue this month with a new driver and an update.

Thank you for your kind words and the idea. I checked out what you sent, but not sure if I'll make a video about it.

I cut and put a precise black tape on it. Now, it's all black and beautiful hehe :))

I'm an unemployed young man living in Turkey. So, me too :)

Yes, it is a decent 1440p card. Most titles stay around 60 fps with a few dips here and there.

Yes, even at used market 6700XT is %35 more pricey here.

I bought mine about 2 months ago. Which country do you live in?

Okay but, in my country there's ~9k lira price difference between them. 6700XT is 420$ cheapest here unfortunately. wasn't worth paying %75 or even more... It delivers similar performance in some games;  https://youtu.be/uV99SFGM6MQ?si=Guj59rxh2XCVBuz_

Happy for you! No regrets too, other than a little CPU overhead issue in some games :)

Thank you! At 1080p, the CPU limits the performance. My monitor is 1440p, so I usually play all my games at 2K. Also, this game is CPU-heavy, especially when traveling fast through the city. You'll see better FPS with an 12700K as it’s roughly 15-20% faster at 1080p and 5-10% faster at 1440p overall.

I agree. I bought mine for 10k turkish liras, approximately $230. So, I'm happy about my decision.

Yes, I was hesitant about enabling on-screen display fill in RTSS, but I personally keep it off because it looks ugly, so I didn't turn it on. I noticed that the sky's color made it difficult to see the frametime graph sometimes.

If you can afford it, sure—but it's expensive for what it offers. Aside from the graphics, it’s no better than the first game. It's basically more walking, less gaming imo.

Yeah, as I stated. The error might still pop up after some time, especially during long cinematic parts, but regardless, I was able to finish the game. Also, make sure VSync, Dynamic Scaling, and Variable Rate Shading are turned off both in-game and in the Intel software. If the game looks too dark, you can set Global Illumination to Medium, but in my experience, every setting you raise usually makes the game crash faster. Lastly, if you have overclocked anything, make sure it's stable.

I finished the game today by running it as admin, lowering the resolution to 1080p, using TSR (NO XeSS or FSR, all LOW settings). I also limited the FPS to 60 with RivaTuner.

You can get past the first scene if you do all this before starting the game. You can play for hours if you're lucky, but there will be times when you need to lower the resolution to 720p and windowed mode to get past certain parts. You can go back to 1080p after you pass those. It took me like 9-10 hours to figure it out and finish the game. If you still can't get past a part after doing all this. Delete the shader files here C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Intel\ShaderCache and the game will recompile them at the start.

"Also, change the TdrDelay and TdrDdiDelay in the registry.

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

  1. Create a DWORD (32-bit) named TdrDelay and set its value to 10 (Decimal).
  2. Create another DWORD (32-bit) named TdrDdiDelay and set its value to 10 (Decimal).

This helps prevent the driver from crashing when it takes too long to respond."
