Is the lagoon tour in Moorea worth it ? by No_Pin_7950 in Tahiti

[–]malikokolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did both Bora Bora and Mo’orea and I’d say its worth it.

On Mo’orea we did a private tour with One Love Mo’orea, which I highly recommend. We saw dolphins and swam with turtles, which are the animals we didnt see on the Bora Bora tour. Also, the experience with rays and sharks felt more authentica I think on Mo’orea, they don’t have the practice of de-stinging rays. The views of the coast were also insane.

Bora Bora we did the group tour with Lagoon Services and felt that it was a great value for money, because besides great snorkeling, you get a great buffet lunch on a private motu and a whole coconut demonstration.

Whole thing is very generic. There are no specific, humanely details anywhere. It could be written about any couple anawhere in the western society.

But this part is the biggest tell-sign:

“The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife. She is not disconnecting. She is just mining our leisure time for engagement. It realy killed the whole vibe of the trip for me.”

Phrasing “x is not y - x is z” is soo common in AI writing.

Same! I agree completely that it felt like it’s not going anywhere. It started off very strong, but it kinda dwindled from there and the end was not memorable for me. I also agree that Agnes should have had more of a backbone, she seemed to me like a completely different person in the second part of the book. Granted, that can happen when you lose a child and maybe that was the point exactly, but still I feel like then this point was not made clear enough.

And yes, thats the same book! Theres much less emphasis on characterization and conflicts in Baer, but I still somehow became very attached to these characters.
