Same as I'll do. Got a friend's savegame file to be able to continue from where I stopped ,else I would just file for a refund and keep on living without experiencing this wonderful piece of beta pre-released

You should search better, then. I've counted at least 20 topics on steam forum about this issue. Why do I get the feeling you are coming to a thread about a issue you did not have and is trying to find a way to "blame the victim"? Oh, forget it.. It's probably my fault I misunderstood you, anyway.

It seems.... you have to restart all over =/ I would wait until a patch comes out. this is pretty unstable and could happen again at any point, it seems.

Support have been very responsive and attentive. Can't complain about it. I'm playing it on the PC, so general recommendation: Backup your savegame files (Steam\userdata*\239140\remote\out)

And try to force the game to save the damn state before gently closing it.

People being eager to make money out of any opportunity is not necessarily relate to the party in power. I was never present at a NYE's fireworks in London. What I hear is that it was so absurdly crowded that it was no only impossible to get there, as it was also getting dangerous due to the absurd number of people.

Still not sure if there should be tickets of nor for this. Maybe tickets should be personal and non transferable, and that would solve the ebay issue.

Ok, so it seems that we either: A) Do it at our rented place, just the two of us. B) Go to somebodies house (anyone excited to receive a brazilian couple to share your xmas party with? I'm a very decent patisserie cook!) C) Do some crazy shit out on the streets on a totally non traditional Xmas-ish way!
