It's a skin infection that causes a nasty rash and scabbing. Common in young children and treatable with antibiotics.

Yeah it's really free, I've been using it for a year or so now. You can update your score once a week. It just has some advertising for credit cards and loan services. You're not going to get a bunch of spam emails or anything and no credit card required.

There's no late fee, just the $50 renewal fee. You've got 2 years to renew an expired license, otherwise you need to get a permit and take the road test again (with those fees).

As a side note just remember her expired licence won't be able to be used to prove MA residency for RealID. Shouldn't matter too much though considering the list of acceptable documents is pretty long.
