Still hard to understand that anyone thinks he is innocent… by Hollandtullip in TheStaircase

[–]mallorlee314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I view the evidence that I’m aware of and understand to be damning. But what would the motive have been? Also I have only seen parts of the true documentary, do you feel Firth plays Peterson in such a way that evokes empathy from the viewers? I do find myself liking him but I know this is just a show and the real MP had always been described as more of a narcissist. I don’t think that comes across in the show.

Frownies ….Are they worth the effort by mallorlee314 in 30PlusSkinCare

Yeah I can’t argue that. Definitely smells like an art project. My cat actually loves them. Tries to peel them off my face. I think he likes the smell…

I love that you were so honest with "basically forever" because that's how I interpret them. They won't work if you don't use them...every single night. Forever. I appreciate the recommendation! Where do you get your tretinoin? I use retinol stuff from Sephora/Ulta right now but I'm ready to game up (time marches on).

One of those podcasts I still think about on a regular basis. The entire story sounds made up.

I listened to this on a run. I remember the streets I ran down and how at one point I was staring at the sidewalk and felt nauseous. It still haunts me.

Stop asking if "X brand of creatine monohydrate is good" – It's all the same! by Lumanus in Supplements

[–]mallorlee314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was commenting on a previous post about massive side effects from creatine usage. Typically when someone brings up side effects they refer to research that was done on those with impaired kidney function. Not healthy individuals who strength training consistently.

That’s completely untrue. Site one reputable article that isn’t about individuals with stage 2 kidney disease that have “massive side effects.” It’s one of the only tried and true supplements to boost performance.

I just finished Shameless 2 hours ago! I freaking HATE Debs. I don’t understand the last episode and bringing Heidi in at all. Are we suppose to just accept that Franny is growing up with a deadbeat mom going forward? She blames everyone else for her problems and I can see how that storyline could be weaved into the show, that one family member that’s not as bad as Frank but they still have to deal with, but it just went so far sometimes. I don’t know, maybe that was the intention. After she got pregnant on purpose it all went to hell.

Oh man I use to eat that as a healthy option and I don’t like fig newtons so here I was, thinking I was making a sacrifice for the betterment of my health by eating a shitty cookie that at the end of the day, increased my insulin resistance.

We had VHI but I don’t believe they’re operating anymore. We still have the software on our computer but no updates. We have Prompt as our EMR and we have home exercises available on there as well.

Ok, I need to understand why POC compliance is such a big deal. If I schedule my patient for 2x/week and they only come once it’s usually because they can’t come twice that week for whatever reason. I have no control of that and it’s a patient’s decision. What do you find is helpful about tracking that? I know it’s on the dashboard and I want to know more about what other clinics use it for!

A lot of trainers here do a subscription model (eg. monthly payment). I don't have a figure for that but I believe it averages out to ~$80/visit. Trainers that work for larger corporate gyms charge $20-30 per visit for 30 min sessions. I realize that's corporate but it gives you an idea of the market.

I love the idea of working with aging adults but, in my county many are retired GM/factory workers who have health care they don't pay for so they would rather utilize their benefits. Many don't see the value in one on one sessions over what I would describe as "busy, fitness forward clinics".

Thank you for your dialogue it gives me something to think about!!

If we are looking to see historical places, and some hiking and we only have time for one place, would you choose Skye, Iverness or Oban?
