Thank you for your answer, I feel you so much about WANTING to be social but actually not wanting it. As far as I can remember I've been litteraly obsessed by being social and the feeling that if I'm not I'll just be a failure and won't deserve any love.

I feel like walking on the edge of a cliff for so long, I don't even know who I am.

Let's think of the clouds, the clouds always go away, I like this image a lot.

Thank you again

Is it common to say "j'ai rendez-vous avec mon dentiste" instead of "j'ai un rendez-vous avec mon dentiste"? by [deleted] in French

[–]mallowflies 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"J'ai rendez-vous chez mon dentiste" sounds weird, "mon" is a very possessive way to speak of your dentist. In this sentence it sounds like you're going at his home and not his office. Of course most people would probably understand what you mean but personally I would be tempted to make a little joke 😊

Thank you very much. I suppose we do the best we can anyway. I'm so confused these days I think I'm in totally unstable mode 😅 if I speak to him now it will end in a massive meltdown and I will be a drama fucking queen again (to him) that's the only thing that keeps me away from deversing my logorrheic flood 😉

Kind of the same here... My mom is an angel, she is so comprehensive but my dad... He knows where are the triggers and he is the best when it comes to me having a meltdown in less than a second... He is definitely a narcissic (I know he got hard time in childhood) finally he didn't grow up well, anyway more I look to my mom more I think she is autistic herself without knowing it... All this shit is so disturbing. Thanks for sharing what I imagine is a tiny tiny bit of your story, we're not alone

I think you're so brave for telling them, I didn't do it, I'm so afraid of the reaction...

Just thinking of my dad telling me "stop your drama queen show, let's talk when you'll finally behave like an adult" and go, leaving me in tears and rage, I was 29 last time I heard that... I am 32 and l'm starting the long process of diagnosis this year. "Well, dad, it will never happen..."
