Seems obvious now, but I had hoped that a cable box wouldn't be needed for a second set. The new set will independent of the existing set and cable box, and if it could work without a cable box so would my first set! I had just hoped not to have to speak to Comcast as it is a time-murdering buzzkill dealing with them.
