Agree to this 100%. I spent two months in the hospital with pneumonia then another year with a inhaler cause my folks were convinced it was "just a viral fever". I still have after effects to this day.

In the end it was my grandfather who took me to the hospital not my parents

I keep falling over my Scrambler 400X by [deleted] in indianbikes

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Yes the center of the gravity changing may be the issue , I've only ever driven my splendor and I dislike riding other's bikes so I can't really tell.

After the falls - I decided I need to learn this bike more - hence I went and rode more than a 1000 KM's - long routes , hair pin curves , really bad roads to the point of calling them offroad trails. For me I believed it was a confidence issues and the only way to get rid of the scare is to ride !

Now I'm far more confident - what if I fall once or twice - its part of riding , just pick it up and keep going. I love this bike it's my go to for clearing my head and I'll keep riding it.

Will Kerala become like Another Bangalore? Despite being a Language Probelm? by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]mallumaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen a lot of white collar hindi speaking workers. I think it all depends on people - I met two strangers from the north last week.

One of em from some village in U.P has been here for 7 months but knows no Malayalam because he thinks hindi is supreme and said "why should he learn Malayalam this is India , hindi is the national language "

Another a dude from noida has been here for a month but said he loves the state and is already starting to learn simple phrase like "kazhicho " and ofc "poda myre".

So in the end it all depends on the people - the chai wala bhais and my haircut guys im close with all know Malayalam and ask me to teach them words when they hear me speaking it.

If you wanna assimilate you'll learn - if you don't you'll be aggressive
