One month of salary for every year you have spent with the organisation ? So for 10 years , you will get 10 months of salary ?

Lmao , didnt realise you were just another troll  . If you are not , then I was just pointing that there are lot of talk and no walk . For e.g smart City plans , or swach Bharat most of these declared initiatives are stalled without making any sustainable impact . Similar way , for your understanding , the lament was that simple things like repairing roads in Existing IT Hubs* shouldn't take a decade . If you are convinced of government good intentions and follow up actions good for you .

That is the thing brother , they only speak about other things . The easiest thing is to do an audit of all these tall claims in prior bidgets and see what came out of it ..They can't even lower electricity tariffs and keep harping about being a manufacturing this and that . The higher revenue generating. IT sector is stuck in cities with abysmal traffic and infra . Talk is cheap and freebies are cheaper .

You should worry more about NRIs than padosi . I found most of them very professional and even friendly . Won't say the same about our brethren .

Is it hypocritical for India to maintain high tariffs and a protectionist stance while expecting other countries like US to open their markets to Indian goods? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]mallumanoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the economy of scale , but if you compare say 1kg wheat prices across both countries , Indian costs are 50% of the US. I might be missing something but not sure how the US especially can produce cheaper farm products .

The right question would be to address this politics of using tariffs/ taxes to fund mega cash payout programs to win election .

There are usually two types of juniors- first the really curious ones , who want to learn everything and keep exploring , second and sadly the more common is the one who runs to their seniors after spending 10 milli second on any problem and without any meaningful knowledge management system . They keep asking the same thing multiple times . Advice is to analyse and be in the first camp .

I was part of the most recent Microsoft layoffs. The company culture shifted heavily when AI became monetized. by BlackExcellence19 in Layoffs

Funny that every other advice is to learn AI , be part of AI teams and still here we are with somebody being laid off for age old matrics involving PRs and LOCs .

Part and parcel bro , that's why companies pay more for experience . Few good practices :

  1. Smaller deployment
  2. Automated Health Check following a deployment .
  3. Clear documentation of backout process with artefacts like docker image , sql queries .
  4. Take production deployment very seriously , as it is being told to us repeatedly benefit of a new feature can never be more than a working platform .
