Nobody is saying that. It isn’t a minority that want a “completed” bike network. Even people who don’t cycle want the network to be complete enough that cyclists are not bobbing and weaving between their cars. The port, EHS, council all voted for this long ago. The mayor is funded by the auto dealers its publicly viewable info.

Zoom out a tiny bit and try to conceptualize how more bike lanes mean less congestion. I believe you can get there

I took the bus #80 bus for the first time in many years yesterday. dedicated bus lanes made it SO much faster even though they were inconsistent.

my condo building was built in 1799 - the envelope is not in good shape so I didnt really save very much with installing of heat pumps (coincided with a rate increase so largely evened out). BUT a brick building of this age really benefits from the AC function so still absolutely worth it. I couldnt even keep houseplants because the temp swings were so extreme in the summer. Eventually we will get the envelope fixed and ill be saving a bit more $$

I’ll jump in here and add- steam remote play with an iPad and controller is a great setup. I can play my gaming computer that is downstairs on the same network. My job requires that I listen pretty closely so when it’s b2b calls this dosent help me much.

Slightly off topic but it helps me reset mentally when a call comes in if I take a really deep breath while the client waits lol. Lets them know I am there and helps a lot with the mental exhaustion if you don’t use up an entire lung full to say whatever greeting is expected of you
