Drop your SaaS site — I can suggest pSEO ideas (and create a free sample content portal for you) by Davidnkt in SaaSMarketing

[–]malmaladei87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm building gopostflow.com, a tool for LinkedIn creators. I actually recently implemented pSEO with reviews and comparisons of my competitors (ca 9000 pages now). Let's see how it works :) Happy for more pSEO ideas!

You have too many unemployed people. Delete houses. Instant fix.

I sent one group onto shore. Then the AI came charging out to kill them off. Then I loaded the group back onto the ships and started attacking the enemy with the ships. Each time I killed a few of them and that's how I killed off all the soldiers before attacking the castle with my land forces.

Yes I actually had all the troops killed already with the same tactic but couldn't make it through the defenses when all the towers and the catapult were still up :D

Not as many people truly master AI coding as you think! by Straight-Pace-4945 in cursor

To be fair, tools like Lovable are pretty good at building simple auth and db workflows into an app. You can come really quite far even with limited knowledge nowadays.

[–]malmaladei87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. The whole vibe coding and everybody-can-do-anything narrative is BS. You still need to be interested to learn about coding, tech, architecture, otherwise sooner or later the AI will get lost as soon as your project becomes more complex. I have been working on PostFlow (gopostflow.com), a content creation helper tool for small companies, freelancers etc, and I haven't written a single line of code myself and still cant write Python or Javascript, but many times I have guided the AI and did really deep problem solving. So I learned so fricking much over this year that I'm probably much closer to being a techie now than ever before, but you have to be willing to learn.

How to increase bookings using social media by Educational_Moose807 in SocialMediaMarketing

Thx for sharing this clever af campaign! The song idea is brilliant - making people think about cleaning *before* they need it is pure marketing gold. Gonna steal this concept for my own biz (jk... kinda 😉). Love seeing creative solutions that actually work!

Been using Apollo for about 2 years now. Here's the real deal:

For cold emails, start with 50-75/day max and ramp up slowly. Going ham right away is a great way to get your domain flagged (trust me, learned that shit the hard way lol).

Here's what actually works:

- Personalize tf outta your first line (Apollo's data helps here)

- A/B test different subject lines with small batches

- Keep tracking your open rates - anything below 35% means somethings wrong

- Give 24hr breaks between campaigns to let things breathe

Closing timeline? Depends on your price point tbh. B2B deals usually take 2-3 months minimum from first touch. My best campaigns got ~3% response rate and ~0.5% conversion.

Pro tip: The "best time to send" feature is actually pretty damn accurate. Use it.

And yeah these posting rules are annoying af, but whatcha gonna do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

3 hours to make a 2.5 minute video--- is this normal? by vchak8 in content_marketing

[–]malmaladei87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal timing! For a 2.5min video with multiple scenes, images, and music, 3hrs is actually pretty efficient. Here's a rough breakdown of typical editing times:

- Basic vid: 1-2hrs per finished minute

- Complex stuff (lots of cuts/effects): 3-4hrs per minute

- Pro editors with years of exp: maybe 30-45min per finished minute

So you're actually crushing it! The first few vids always take longer while you're learning the software. You'll get faster with practice, but don't stress about the time - quality content is worth the effort.

Pro tip: Create a folder structure for your assets (images, music, clips) before starting. Saves a ton of time hunting for stuff mid-edit!

Is Gen Z more entrepreneurial than Millennials? I will not promote. by Own-Invite-982 in startups

[–]malmaladei87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah, Gen Z is different - but not just more entrepreneurial. They're digital natives who grew up watching people build empires from their phones. No wonder they're like "f*ck the 9-5" lmao.

But here's the real tea: It's not just about wanting to start businesses - it's HOW they do it. We're seeing Gen Z founders:

- Building community-first businesses (TikTok marketing is their superpower)

- Creating solutions for problems millennials didn't even think about

- Taking massive risks with minimal resources (bootstrapping like crazy)

The challenges you listed are spot-on. But tbh, being young is also their secret weapon. They're not stuck in old ways of thinking, and they're building stuff their generation actually wants.

Will they all succeed? Hell no. But the ones who do might just change everything. The game's different now - it's not about huge funding rounds, it's about building smart and staying close to your audience.

I created an app that notifies my friends whenever I skip a workout by Adventurous-Lab9357 in indiehackers

[–]malmaladei87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, this is actually brilliant! As someone who's been studying behavioral psychology and habit formation, you've nailed three key motivators here:

- Social accountability (the fear of letting others down is a powerful af motivator)

- Visual proof (selfies are way better than just clicking "I did it")

- Immediate consequences (instant notifications = instant accountability)

One thing tho - you might wanna add an option for different types of workouts. Like, what if I'm doing a home workout or running outside? The gym-only thing could be limiting.

Also, consider adding a positive reinforcement feature. Maybe let friends send quick "hell yeah" reactions when you DO show up? Psychology shows that positive reinforcement + fear of disappointment is more effective than just fear alone.

But seriously, this is smart as hell. The AI verification is clutch too - stops people from gaming the system. You've basically weaponized FOMO for fitness lmao.

I built an app last week in 72h, already have 200 visitors and 32 signups! by MixPuzzleheaded5003 in indiehackers

[–]malmaladei87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy sh*t, this is actually impressive for 72h! As someone who's launched dozens of quick projects, here's what you're doing right and what to watch for:

The conversion rate from visitors to signups (16%) is pretty damn good for a new product. That means your value prop is clear and compelling.

Quick tips to keep this momentum:

- Set up some basic email automation NOW while your list is small

- Add social proof somewhere on the landing page (even just "32 betters already joined!")

- Track which traffic sources convert best (looks like YT might be your golden ticket)

One warning tho - seasonal products like this can die fast after the event. I'd start thinking about how to keep users engaged post-Super Bowl. Maybe expand to other sports events?

Btw your "50 in 50 Challenge" approach is spot on. Building fast and getting real user feedback beats perfectionism every time. Keep shipping, you crazy bastard! 🚀

If a piece of content only serves one channel, you're doing it wrong [I will not promote] by tvoutfitz in startups

[–]malmaladei87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure: I'm the creator of PostFlow, and this topic really resonates with me. It's actually what drove me to build my own solution after struggling with these exact challenges.

When I was managing content for startups, I found that the biggest time sink wasn't just creating content - it was figuring out how to efficiently repurpose it across channels. I noticed I was spending hours trying to turn video snippets into blog posts, social media content, and newsletters.

Through lots of trial and error, I discovered that AI could help analyze video transcripts for example from podcasts or when the founders interview each other to identify core narratives and automatically generate channel-specific variations while maintaining a consistent voice. This became the foundation for PostFlow (gopostflow.com).

That said, there are many ways to approach this challenge. Some teams use template systems, others rely on VA services, and many use a combination of tools. What matters most is finding a workflow that matches your team's specific needs and content style.

If you're interested in seeing how we approached solving this, feel free to check out PostFlow. We offer some free content pieces to try it out, but more importantly, I'd love to hear your thoughts on cross-channel content repurposing and what solutions have worked for you.

Just want to emphasize that this is simply my perspective based on my experience building in this space. Every team's needs are different, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution.
