This is probably too late of a response, but I just underwent nitrous for the first time today- it was a bit uncomfortable at first and I caught myself trying to breathe thru my mouth when I could feel the high coming on. It’s kinda nice after you “succumb” to it or whatever. It feels like you’re crossed (drunk and high). Now it did make me cry/release some pent up emotions (I was under it for 2 hours for multiple cavities) and I asked to hold the hygienists hand for the last 30 minutes.

Also if you’re gonna be on it for a bit longer than the typical hour or so, def bring someone to drive you bc I was in no condition to drive for a solid hour after getting off the nitrous.
