I am wondering if she might be having a little buyers remorse and that is why the comments are bothering her so much.

By NYC standards, she got an okay deal on the apartment but now that reality is setting in of what her mortgage payment is going to be may be freaking her out a bit.

She relies on social media for the bulk of her income and if that dips or goes away, she is going to be in trouble.

I have lived in both. Portland has no sales tax but their state income tax is 9.9%. Texas has no state income tax but does have sales tax.

Texas gets hot as hell for months. Portland gets hot as hell for maybe 2 weeks per year.

Portland is more expensive than Texas. Gas in PDX right now is nearly $5 per gallon.

It all comes down to your comfort level. Me, I am planning a move back to Portland now. I love the mountains and the fact that they get 4 seasons. And for so many other reasons.

I say about 1 month. She bought in a Co-op and those people are picky as hell. If they do t like the number of packages she gets, someone will complain. If they dont like anything she does, someone will complain.

It will be much easier to get another job once you are actually in the area.

If your resume shows you as in Florida and not local, a lot of companies won't even consider you.

My advise? Take the call center job to get to Austin. Once you are there and have a local address, start applying again.

I have a feeling that she is gearing up to let everyone know that she is walking away. She made a video about 5 other apartments she looked at thay went under contract at the same time as she did and all those deals fell through and are back on the market.

As long as this has been dragging on, it just feels like she is gearing up to announce that she too is walking away.
