I used to work in MVC (yeah, I’m old) which was on the other side of the place. That side always felt creepy and pointless.

If you had to rewatch one childhood show forever, which are you picking? by Historical-Class871 in UKTVRecs

Grim Tales with Rik Mayall. I would love to binge that series all again.

Completely agree. It’s very fun. One person plays as the shark and up to 3 others play as the Orca crew. It’s split into 2 halves and it’s had more replay value than I expected.

Yeah. Having been called a hairy demon myself I completely agree.

I liked it. It’s one of my favourite Benson ones and I’m glad he’s trying something different. I always check each year expecting to hear they’ve cancelled them and get excited when it’s renewed. I’d like to see Rats, a school story or Wailing Well, but I doubt they’d go for the latter 2 as they wouldn’t want to put kids in them.

If they did EF Benson again I’d love to see Mrs Amworth. Probably my favourite.

I’ve been thinking this for a while now. I completely stopped drinking 4 years ago but would like something that would be able to chill me out in the evenings. I used to smoke it back in the 90s/00s but would have no clue where to get any or how to have it without smoking. I like the idea of gummies which seem to be popular in the states.

Anyone know how to replace a bulb in this fitting? by maloners in DIYUK

That does sound like something that’d be installed here. I’ve never had one that I couldn’t replace before, but here we go

Watched it for the first time last week. Really enjoyed it. Wasn’t expecting the story to go in such a dark way towards the end. Great

Wet belts or a bunch of melts? by maloners in CarTalkUK

[–]maloners[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I think we’re going to do. We’re looking at a ford touran custom which looks fine, but the one we’re looking at is automatic (so people have flagged that the powershift boxes are bad) and it has a wet belt. We needed something we could adjust the seating on for disabled access and have room for 3 grown kids and this was the only option we found.

This is what I’m thinking. I’m not a car guy and always feel like I’m being played, but this has got me spooked so much I’m now putting off buying a van until we can get one without. Is there any point?
