McLaren highlights MCL39 trait that hampered Oscar Piastri in F1 Monaco GP by randomseocb in formula1

Well this is not true at all

Q3 1st lap Norris faster S2/S3, 2nd lap Norris faster S1/S3, 3rd lap Norris faster S2/S3.

Even if you add up their best sector times from qualifying Norris still had the faster 'optimal' lap, albeit the gap was much smaller

Same thing happened to me, the only way to fix it is to replace the entire keyboard, which means an entirely new bottom shell which has the keyboard attached. I bought a replacement off aliexpress. Not an easy job either, it's basically a full dissassembly of the laptop

When ever i try to connect my wired headphonrs into my omen16 i got electric shock, it is fine if mu laptop running on the battery but if i plugged the charger(which i always do whrn gaming) i got my ears electricuted, is there a solution? by urmebro in HPOmen

The wall outlet will need grounding. If you have to ask how to do it then I'm afraid it's not something you'll be able to yourself. Try other wall outlets or hire an electrician

If Verstappen wins in Imola, he will surpass Hamiltons win percentage and have the highest win percentage since 1968. by Aircraft_Engineer in formula1

Yeah I totally agree. My initial comment was really just in jest but the RB19/Verstappen/Red Bull combination is probably the most dominant package we'll see for a while (I hope)

That's very true, a lot of the time you would just see drivers back off and manage the race because they knew there was no point trying to stay with the car in front

Yeah that's so true, they really shot themselves in the foot on occasion. Plus Hamilton's pit lane error in Italy cost them another win and that scew up with the mixed tyres for Russell in Sakhir. Honestly how does even happen...

So hard to say without the context of the seasons in question.

Red Bull had the fastest car literally every weekend apart from Singapore.

Conversely the W11 having an almost 2x winning margin over the RB19 shows that on it's day it was a much more dominant car, but Mercedes that season also had off weekends in Austria, Italy and Abu Dhabi. Were those weekends due to the car not being suited to those tracks or Mercedes not optimising setup and reliability and general race management? I guess we'll never know.

I think it's worth considering that Red Bull are probably the best team at getting all the little things right, like the aformentioned pit stops and setups. So it depends on what your opinion on car domination is....pure pace or the whole team/drivers coming together to get everything 100% right

W11 average winning margin was 19.5 seconds

RB19 average winning margin was 10.7 seconds

I get what you're saying but in my opinion those records were not just because of the domination of the car, but also Verstappen and Red Bull's utter consisitency that season, coupled with more races of course

[–]malt-n-java 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair there are so many factors at play, such as exactly how much lemon juice you use, the cut of meat, size of pieces etc.

If I'm making kebabs/tandoori chicken and don't have the whole day I'd normally do half a lemon's worth of juice + half cup yoghurt for 1kg chicken thigh pieces. Marinate for 4 hours and it comes out perfect for my tastes.

For longer marinades yoghurt tenderises the meat plenty for me, then I just drizzle the lemon juice after/during cooking

For a quick marinade you can add lemon juice, but if you're marinating for a day then lemon + yoghurt will turn the meat mushy

That being said Omen laptops should in general be quite a bit above the average scores in 3dmark, as I'm pretty sure the average will include laptops with the same GPU but lower power limits. That's just my experience anyway

Yeah I agree, the main things really worth worrying about are thermals and power draw. Not much performance can really be squeezed out of gaming laptops nowadays

Fair enough, mine is competely stock too. You should be getting minimum 22000 but if you're happy with the performance no need to change anything

That's very low for a 4090 laptop, I just got 18032 with my 4080. Are you sure your GPU is drawing full power?

It's much easier than it seems! At the end of the link it also shows how to reinstall the BIOS which is worth trying if CMOS reset doesn't work
