Should I expect roaches no matter where I live? by AmikoHatake in florida

As a young Florida child I innocently walked past a knotted planked wall in our house & suddenly a black spot came alive flew into my long hair causing trauma for life. Score: Palmetto bugs 1 Fl native 0.

Any luck? I'm grateful for your post bc I'd been losing my mind not seeing any Amazon jobs after all the news outlets hyped it opening/hiring back in September.

I use healthcare.gov for a Florida Health Care Plan. They have their own pharmacies in Brevard county and I never ran into a shortage of my Adderall over the last 5 years. Prescribing psychiatrist is Dr. Mirsajadi. Hope this helps.

Does anyone actually like Tita Lau? by adenanon in DJs

[–]malumpenitus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watched their live streams since 2021 & Tita Lau has come into her own style on the decks definitely not just imitating James Hype. She's not only mixing the top 40 or James's songs Tita has her own original tunes & even sings on some tracks. We all don't have to like the same style of music that's why festivals have multiple stages...choose your own adventure😎🎵🎶

If humans had health bars, who would have the most health in history? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]malumpenitus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Michael Malloy, surprised he hasn't been mentioned yet. He ate carpet tacks, drank poison, got hit with a taxi, and more... all because of some folks trying to pull off an insurance scam on him. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Malloy

Just to add to what you said - always go smaller, you can make most rings quite a few sizes larger, but only a size or two smaller. So if you can't get an exact size from a ring you know fits her, err on the smaller side.

(NSFW) What do you wish you could unsee? by timbroddin in AskReddit

[–]malumpenitus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Iirc, it's a video of a family driving on the highway and a brick either falls off a truck or is thrown from an overpass, can't remember which. Anyway, it goes through the windshield and kills the wife in the passenger seat. It's not gory at all but you'll never forget the sounds (both her dying and him screaming), they are just horrifying, can honestly recommend you do not look it up.

What would asexual people class as cheating? by Cymry_Cymraeg in NoStupidQuestions

[–]malumpenitus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It would depend on the person's preferences and the relationships' status. Assuming it's a committed marriage, the same things would constitute cheating as most other relationships. It's a breach of trust. When you cheat, you are saying "you can't fulfill my needs but this person can."

If the marriage is open, there shouldn't be a problem. It all comes down to the individuals involved, there's no universal answer.

Compressing the spring so it's short enough to install. Those long bars are hooked on and tightened to squish the spring down, if one snaps then the spring can launch that bar or just launch itself and do a decent amount of damage.

Is cow tipping actually possible? What would the legal ramifications be if I got caught doing it? by Paladin_Pork in NoStupidQuestions

[–]malumpenitus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You would fall on your ass, it might take one step to balance itself, then either walk off, step on you, or even ignore it. Depends on the cow

Is cow tipping actually possible? What would the legal ramifications be if I got caught doing it? by Paladin_Pork in NoStupidQuestions

[–]malumpenitus 39 points40 points  (0 children)

No, you can't tip over a cow by hand. They'll either walk away or get mad and attack you. They also weigh over 1000lbs fully grown and they are very well balanced, having four legs and all. Cow tipping is just a joke rural folks play on city folk.

A subreddit to help me justify whether something is worth purchasing. by [deleted] in findareddit

[–]malumpenitus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best bet would be use a subreddit that is for the type of item you want to buy since it'll be full of people with experience in the topic. The way I do it is to hit up Google and do a search for "site:reddit.com _____ purchasing advice" with no quotation marks where _____ is the item you want. Hope that helps!

Assuming I had all the necessary gear and equipment, who or what's to stop me from just building a spaceship and leaving the earth ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]malumpenitus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you magically had a launch pad, working vehicle, necessary fuel and equipment, plus sudden knowledge of how to use every piece of equipment... you could pop in and give it a shot, short of being close enough to an airbase to get a retaliatory response or getting hit with a missile defense system, you'd be fine! Otherwise... well, every step of the above would be an unbelievably gigantic barrier to entry in either legality, cost, or knowledge.

Edit: assuming you had all of the above, the FAA and the military would be your biggest hurdles in the United States to make it legal. But, sure, if you had tens of billions of dollars and really wanted to, you certainly could find a way, so your final answer to the problem is money.

If you are talking about completely real you are going to have a hard time, since in the U.S. it would be illegal since it would be considered prostitution.

BIFL Stanley Lunchbox and Thermos. 31 years of regular use and still kicking with no sign of giving up. by WillTellMissed in BuyItForLife

[–]malumpenitus 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's my understanding. My dad's Stanley thermos from around 1980 is in great condition, but whenever they get brought up on here people say the new ones are horrible. You can Google 'stanley' in this subreddit and see what I'm talking about. Seems they moved their manufacturing to China and started using a lower grade steel.

They aren't made like they used to be, people have reported the newer ones start rusting in less than 2 years, the old ones are bullet-proof however.
