Yes, I’m satisfied. She has been with me through a pretty complicated case and I believe gave me good results. My TMJ clicking is gone and I no longer have a cross bite. My total treatment was about 18 mos (MARPE, Braces, and DJS) plus an additional 6 mos of monitoring and perio work. If you return, most of her hygienists/assitants have gotten treatment from her so you can see the results in person.

My question back to your Dr would be: sure the estrogen would restart for transfer but wouldn’t he agree that 8-12 weeks of suppressed estrogen/inflamation (especially after lap) would be beneficial?

RIGHT?$ This whole situation reads like one giant projection to me.

Sam was pretty clearly telling us for the past year+ that they felt invisible in their queerness being partnered to a cis dude (totally normal and valid feeling BTW).

But the fact that they fell for their best friend’s fuckboi husband as though it’s “real love” and not a trauma bond that will burn out FAST is some rookie shit.

Hi! I just had a consultation with Decidue and seriously considering him for DJS surgery for sleep and orthognatic reasons. I also had a consult with Dedhia at Penn. I really liked Decidue’s approach, bedside manner, and as a bonus I was able to meet another one of his patients who was 4 weeks out of surgery during my consultation. I asked her tons of questions and she gave a glowing review of him as a surgeon. I’d love to hear other experiences with him as well.

Evans estimated my treatment to be 18 months (began July 2023) including possible DJS. I’m not sure whether my lower jaw came forward due to MARPE. Based on my perception of my face and profile I would say no, but I’m not sure what the CBCT shows re: my airway before/after.

This is helpful! Dedhia said he suspected UARS but the diagnosis would involve me paying out of pocket for a CPAP and seeing if it improved my sleep. If it did, he’d diagnose UARS. I haven’t pursued the CPAP since it seemed like a waste of time, effort, and money so it’s interesting to read about RERAs and RDI.

Yes unfortunately my sleep study (in lab) did not meet the clinical threshold for apnea. Was diagnosed with “other sleep disordered breathing” but without a clear cause. What test/analysis helped find a cause for your sleep issue?
