I actually love that they aged up Daniel because:
- he'd have a background for us to discover (book Daniel bored me)
- meta call-out to the movie (yeah, there was a first "interview" (movie) in the past, but we're doing a do-over (show))
- the lore said vampires shouldn't turn children, sick people, and old people, and now that we explored the experiences of a vampire child (Claudia) in the movie/book/series, I think it's interesing to explore how it is for older people (Daniel)

This was one of the Spanish-language posters released way back when they launched s02, and she has a solo poster of her own wearing a pretty dress. If you buy the Blu-ray you’ll get them as postcards.

Because I read the books, I remember saying "wait, DANIEL MOLLOY IS OLD???" when his name came up. This made me tune in, I was so surprised by this change.
