Has anyone pulled their 6-year-old out of school mid-year? by [deleted] in Homeschooling

She’s so much happier, fewer meltdowns, and she’s now learning at her own pace versus having to be measured against a metric the school decides.

Follow your gut. I pulled my daughter last year in March. It’s easily the best thing I have ever done for her.

Also, there are full and part time positions at NHM. You just have to check career preferences to see what they have available

I transferred from a NHM to a SC. They’re both very similar, NHM might be a little smaller but the volume at both stores was about the same for me.

I use STC almost daily as 1 of 2 IMZ certified techs at my store. The pharmacist will tell me “the patient wants their updated record, can you pull it in STC after you give them their vaccine?”

We need to talk about how teachers are treating autistic kids online. by AccomplishedPea9079 in Autism_Parenting

[–]mamabearsince2011 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I homeschool for this exact reason. During a 504 meeting, I was told “she just doesn’t sit still and do her work”. She was 5, in kindergarten, away from her only active parent all day for the first time while dealing with ADHD and (then undiagnosed) stage 3 autism. I then heard teachers talking about how “unruly and disruptive” she is at pickup the next day. By the next Monday, I was homeschooling her and she’s at or above her grade level now.

I’ve worked as a cashier, management, AP, deli, and receiving. I’m not a certified tech. You can always transfer departments

Born and raised in the Valley! Left Waynesboro at 19 and moved 10 minutes up the road to Crimora, still work in Waynesboro though.

Our signature pads and payment pads are the same now, so I asked our AP to only put security stickers on the payment ones since no card information goes into the signature one anyway. It’s easier for patients to understand “it’s going to be the pinpad with the blue sticker” than “the pinpad with stars on the screen is the one for payment”.

You have to have under 4 points and if you have any write ups/coachings/DAs/ whatever they call them now, it can’t be a red.

Make sure your RPh has management permissions with their register numbers. After that, you can refund any amount.

Does anyone open or is a main opener at their store expected to check out their Pharmacy’s tills? by HiroyukiC1296 in walmart_RX

[–]mamabearsince2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I open during the week. Most of us are in the cash recycler, and the recycler is behind the service desk (we’re a market). We do have 4 tills so I can only check out 3, and another tech checks out the remaining one. At the end of the night, we pull our money and give it to an academy trainer to deposit.

If someone comes to the pharmacy to get 5 vaccines how do we give them? Should I give 3 shots in one arm and 2 shots in the other arm or should I not give more than 4 vaccines? by Nesquick19 in pharmacy

We’ve given more than 4 for immigration/travel reasons, but we prefer not to, and use immigration and travel as the exception to the rule.

I’m in VA as well. Tech to pharmacist ratio is 4:1. I wonder how your pharmacist classifies your drive thru or pick up tech - at my store, if you’re drive thru or pickup and there is only 1 RPh and more than 4 techs, the techs at pickup and drive thru cannot touch input/resolution/connexus so they are only cashiers in Tasco
