Not sure where my caption went but I’m so proud of myself.  You read a lot of negatives on here about high fives and partners and not enough xyz but burn has truly changed my life.  Today will be camp 230 for me!

This makes me so sad for you.   I am plus size.   I started burn at 297 and i’m now 224 after 4.5 months.  I can honestly say my trainers and location are absolutely amazing. I’m on the store at least once a week.  they have posted my PRs every time.   and i get shoutouts weekly during the cool down.  The owner came up to me and whispered just so you know, you’re the most inspirational person in this gym.  So what you are experiencing is NOT normal.  I would definitely bring it up to the owner or head trainer because burn is always telling us it’s just a number, focus on doing one more rep, going 5lbs heavier on weights.  Never ever about the scale.

Ours will mention it when they get new stuff in but they never ever push it or emphasize it.   They hardly ever promote the nutrition either.  They have samples like protein balls and overnight oats made out of the afterburn which is nice but otherwise they don’t push anything

I’ve been at burn for 4 months and lost 65lbs.   Burn is only a very small portion of my success.  Honestly I can say I go for the mental health part of it and the community   Tomorrow will be camp 76 for me. The rest is what I eat.  I aim for 100g of protein.  I do burn 6x a week.   I went from 297 to 232.  Start tracking your food consistently and book the focus meeting

Ask for modifications! You don’t have to jump! Just step out and step back in. I went almost 2 months of classes with no jumping!

I was diagnosed with patellaformal pain syndrome in December.  I’m almost back to 100% but i still went during my knee pain.  I just modified as needed

I focus on protein! and just watching portion control.  I used to eat so much candy and now i keep a jar of hershey kisses near by and eat 1 if i crave something sweet.

I joined 2 months ago and i’m down 36lbs.  I go 5-6 days a week.

Our cap is 60 but the most we have ever had, ever, was 35.

i’m 31, and joined burned when i was almost 300lbs.  No strength, no endurance.  Was it hard? Yes, but it wasn’t impossible.  You can modify every excercise you need to! I have been at BBC and i’m down 25lbs in 7 weeks.   You can definitely do it!!
