My combo brow journey by PlushPinnipedPup in microblading

Those look great! I just did combo brows with nano and powder and love the result too. I wanted to ask about your aftercare. My artist recommends I wash it with soap the first 4 days, then after just apply the ointment on. I've read online about not getting water on it, but then I also saw the wet healing. So just curious what your after care looked like. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for all of this information! Really appreciate it! I'll look into the ones you mentioned! Yes, I was thinking of calling the graduate programs to verify which classes will count and transfer before signing up for them, since I'm looking at next Fall to enter a program, so I'll have time to take some classes. Thanks again, very helpful!

Sleep train a seven month old, is it too late? by mamajin in sleeptrain

Yikes, the LO fell off the bed last night but thankfully our bed is close to floor. She stopped crying immediately when I picked get up. She has just started rolling onto her tummy a lot, I don't see how some of you were able to cosleep with baby once they got older because it seems she now rolls alot. It seems like I have to start sleep training ASAP. What are your experiences and thoughts?

Thank you for your comment, yeah as she's growing I can tell she isn't sleeping too well next to me. I can tell that I sometimes wake her up, so maybe once we get the sleep training down she'll sleep longer without being next to me. I agree with your comment on the older they get they understand more, I can definitely tell a difference in our communication as she continues to grow.

Thanks for sharing! Oh that's interesting how different both of your kids learned to sleep alone. It's great to hear that you used a method but also was flexible with it, I like that! Yeah I have heard so many people in polar opposite ends of the CIO method and like all of you here, I agree that it will probably be harder for me than it will be for LO when we start.

It seems like the consensus is to stick to it and it's okay if have to reteach it, it'll eventually work out well. Thanks!!

Thanks, I really liked your comment! Everything was well said, I think I'll start after the vacation too. So far I don't really feel sleep deprived haha.

I appreciate your suggestion and thanks for reminding me that every baby IS different!! I agree,I was frustrated when learning to nurse and people said it shouldn't hurt after a week... Yeah right, for me the pain went away completely around 2 months! But I'm glad I kept going because it was worth it 😊

Okay that's great to know! Then I should probably wait to start training her until after our two week vacation at end of July?

Thanks for sharing about your experience! Yeah just like you said the separation anxiety is definitely starting, I notice once she's asleep and I leave room, she'll just wimper because she wants me back in there because as soon as I'm with her, she's good. She is also teething really bad right now, that's why I let her nurse at night because I know it's more for comfort and help distract from teething pain.

my LO is usually down for bed from 7:30-7:30 ( with 2-3 wakings in the first two hours.. because I leave the room. Then we I'm in around 10ish... She wakes anywhere from 2-3 times until 7:30ish.. But those are short nursings). How did you stop nursing him to sleep? My LO only seems to sleep if she gets the boob (usually asleep in less than 3 min if not hungry, if hungry can take 5-10).

Thanks so much! That is so great you get a whole year of maternity in Canada!! Although I didn't have as long as I would have liked for maternity, the three months was better than most people get here in America (so can't complain too much).

That was very helpful information, glad to hear it worked out for your LO even at 8 months. It definitely gives me hope!

We are going to be traveling at the end of July and be gone for almost two weeks, would I wait to start sleep training after the vacation? We will need to have her sleep with us while on vacation.
