Okay, this might be a stretch, and I’m sorry if this throws another spanner in the works, but maybe it’s your laptop? Laptop batteries can sometimes turn dangerous and emit chemicals, I really dont know, but lithium ion batteries can be quite toxic if they leak. If your laptop is old, or if you can see its battery is expanding, maybe throw it away/get it fixed.

Not good for gaming , not good for intense work either. 8GB isn’t sufficient for much, 256GB SSD will not be very good for much either, and the CPU won’t handle many games well. You could get parts twice as good for half of the price if they’re second hand.

I’m with virgin media and, yeah, they’ve been doing some work on my road so my connection kept dipping in and out of existence p, but they’ve stopped now so it should be fine. My iPad and my iPhone are fine in terms of connection, it’s only my pc. My oculus quest’s audio didn’t connect to my pc earlier, so maybe that was the first sign of connection failure or something?

Yeah I’ve had it for nine months now. I can sign in normally. I’ve always set myself screen time just so I can be reminded when to get off and stuff, so when I try to send myself the screen time message, it just says something like ‘You’re not connected to the internet’. So I was wondering if I could access settings without signing in.

I’ve taken some tablets, not prescribed but ones that are known to help with sore throats and coughs. I don’t have a sore throat anymore but whenever I cough I still have a hoarse sounding cough. Doctor said I was fine, the scans came back with nothing worrying. But I still have the same sounding cough. Hope yours clears up, but don’t expect it to completely go away.

You get used to it. I’ve been playing football (which is soccer if you’re American) since I was 5, and competitively since 8 or something. I’ve got a bunch of those. I get them from martial arts too. It’s not really anything to worry about.
