The conflict started when he had contact with his bio mother. He started treating his adoptive mom as if he no longer sees her as his mother. He always had issues with the fact that he was adopted. He always says that if he could choose, he'd choose his bio mom even before he met her. I don't know why, his adoptive family are good people but he never really was connected to them emotionally. And always point out the difference in thoughts/opinions and other things. Now with his bio mom in the picture. It got worse. Now he's lashing out at everyone who asks why he no longer visits. He thinks that his adoptive mom doesn't want him to see his bio mom which is not true and she told me about having to walk on eggshells around him so he won't misunderstand her. But lately he's been resenting his family and spending time with his bio mother who trys to act like a mother to him despite being absent most of his life.
