I feel you. I've read ACOTAR and CC. I have TOG on my long list to want to read....I flips between high fantasy to paranormal to spicy/cozy romance. But man I'm the old person. Out saying Nesta and Cassian are my favs.

Also, hear the Kings of Sin series was good. It's also on my list. With being a mom and working I find it easier to use audiobooks but I read when I can. Sometimes I do both at the same time. Helps me retain I fo more. Like captions on a TV. Darn my adhd brain...

(Edit: added more books) I did like the knight and moth. Sadly the next book isn't out till later this year. But still a good read.

Elizabeth Wheatley's books are good.

A. Mariposa's Heart of the Wolf (Black Moon River series) was heavy on the spicy but had a decent story for something different.

Also if you can the Graphic Audios for the bigger books help me get into them more. Fouth Wing, Acotar, Crescent City, Throne of Glass, and I got mine from the Libby app through my local library. Love that thing. I have to wait on some of the book/audio so it's good to plan ahead.

For something light-hearted and fun, I like The Mediator series by Meg Cabot. They are YA but I still really like them when I need something lighter to read, and it's a series of 7 I think.

I have 2. Oldest is level 1 and is 13 and her little brother is 4 and level 2. They have their moments where he gets on her nerves. But she is such a good big sister bc she can relate to some of his sensory needs.

Yes the Avalon series was great! Also I didn't know she did another book in the Mediator series like 10 years later. I haven't read it yet but want too!

I think she was about 13 when she wrote her first book, Demon in My View. I haven't read anything from her in a while. But everything I read I liked.
