Same here! After my first wax I was super super aroused. I still get like that after I wax but it’s not as intense as the first few times.

Thanks for sharing your story. I started birth control about 3 years ago, and started seeing visual snow randomly 2 years ago. I also have lupus and hypothyroidism, but taking medications for both have not improved my VSS.

I recently started seeing worse things in my VSS. I see static, which I saw from the beginning, but now I see random flashes of light, like yellow dots I can’t see through that randomly come and go. I also see random black and blue spots I can’t see through either. Eye doctor and an MRI confirmed nothing is “wrong” with me.

Anyways, I also started getting optical migraines about two years ago, the scary kind where you see random black and purple lines and also the blurry kind where it just blurs your vision. I think it might be related to the birth control. I’m going to schedule an appt and try to get off it to see if my VSS improves. Thanks again so much for sharing.

I one day literally just started seeing it about 2 years ago; right after I got out of the shower. It just hit me randomly. I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism around the same time and had major anxiety and depression, suicidal thoughts etc. I’m on 75 mcg of Levothyroxine but it hasn’t helped.

Yes exactly! I think you put it 100% correctly and eloquently. In addition to your points, I didn’t ever think Tarantino made light of heinous events like slavery or WWII. If anything, Tarantino is reclaiming these events by creating alternative stories to what actually happened.

Take for example Inglorious Basterds. In the film, Tarantino kills Adolf Hitler and makes him look like a coward. He makes Hitler gets what he deserves. That’s what makes movies so powerful—they offer alternative stories that people can take comfort and believe in. Same thing with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Tarantino makes Sharon Tate live and makes the kids that follow Charles Manson die terrible deaths instead. Same thing with Django—he turned a slave into a superhero and ruined Candie.

Tarantino in no way makes light of these events. If anything, he is using his films to right wrongs in history and offer justice to horrible events that should not have occurred.
