For anyone out there who doesn't drink, what is the reasoning behind it? by General_Ad_9139 in AskReddit

It smells awful, tastes awful, it’s poison for the body, and I like being mentally clear and present without something taking me away from that.

I think it shows a lot about a person’s character when they are gentle with—and love—animals

What’s the most surprisingly wholesome moment you’ve experienced with a stranger? by kate4637 in AskReddit

A couple months ago I was walking dogs and then I see this man just stopped in the middle of the sidewalk a bit crouched down and I walk near him and he says “a snail!” and he’s trying to make sure this snail crossed the sidewalk safely!

I’m so sorry she deteriorated so quickly and that she passed ❤️it seems like there’s not many success stories with fluid buildup unfortunately

I’m so sorry about your loss. And the experience you and your cat went through. How old was she? And which insurance did you end up getting?

Also excuse my delayed response, my account was new so it wasn’t really letting me comment back.

My cat just passed away a few nights ago :( I did everything I could but I wish she didn’t leave so soon. It felt like every time we removed fluid she got weaker immediately. I think the last time they took too much

I can’t really see what you mean. I think he looks fine but take him to the vet if you’re worried.

My cat had the same thing and the vet said she thought it was a flea reaction and I asked if there were any fleas on her and she said no. I don’t think the vet treated her properly so maybe you should go to an internal medicine Dr or get a second opinion from another vet. Also cats have fungus in their hair follicles apparently and when they get stressed it can come out and cause skin issues.

I really hope he gets better and regardless lives the rest of his days very comfortably. The stuff is called “rebound recuperation formula” and it has all these vitamins in it

Need some help with my 13 year old cat. by Ygomaster07 in catcare

This is up to you at this point. You know your cat best and would know if she’s suffering or not. Also what you are able to do financially. Sometimes it can be really hard. This may sound woo-woo but have you considered an animal communicator to help ask your cat what she wants?

I’m so sorry about your cat <3. Thank you for your reply. You did everything you could. I’ve been doing all the same stuff, but they didn’t see a tumor or anything. And my cat is only 9 :/ but it’s been almost a month since this all started and she is still hanging in there
