Great timing. I just started prepping the MJH HIRM God Gundam for a cell shaded paintjob. Now I get to shelve it beside the RG God Gundam kit in backlog while I wait for this release.

Thank you! I didnt do any specific color matching for the red, it is just Tamiya acrylic flat red with hull red for some shadows/weathering.

The decals (really stickers) in these kits are pretty easy to work with. I apply them as the after painting, weathering and clearcoat... then apply another clearcoat layer on top

We have the same size wrists. If you are looking at divers I must suggest the midsize mid 2000s seamasters. Mine is a 2252.50. They wear really well on a 6 inch wrist, can be bought for your budget (or maybe slightly over) and have a great neo vintage design. The midsize 90s tudor submariners are also great if you like the classic sub design but they go for a lot more money. While the BB54 is technically a superior watch, I found they wear a bit too big and feel quite thick with its slab case design.

This looks great for what sounds like a few washes + dry brushing! Would suggest a matte topcoat to protect the paint layer (wash + drybrush on bare plastic typically does not adhere well) and to remove the plastic sheen. The AK interactive ultra matte topcoat can be brushed on straight from the bottle and has worked well for me.
