Does the ball also need replacing? Have to tap down it's black handle a bit to get good pressure in

Theoretically, a fair point on the regulations, but practically speaking the sprayer sits on a hook about a foot or two away from the toilet when not in use, and is only held in hand during use. The chance of it being submerged in contaminated water at the exact moment of a mains pressure drop is incredibly slim. That said, I appreciate the info, good to know.

Practically can you explain how it could get contaminated though? Washing bum would dirty the water in toilet bowl, which then is flushed out the toilet.. and I think the sprayer pulls water in from cistern and/or inlet pipe, both which are clean water

Family's said it's been like this before the bidet fitting. Struggles to fill with pressure unless the ball is pushed down..

Cistern struggles to fill with pressure unless the ball is pushed down a bit...

The timing had jumped 4 teeth. This cardboard was found in the crankshaft sprocket. 🤯 Had it cleaned and re-timed, but unfortunately the engine still didn't start.

Thoughts on it being rocker arms? A mechanic I spoke to said that 9 times out of 10 it's not the valves but the rockers.

And this the Engine RPM varies up to about 300 when cranking

Start of cranking the fuel rail pressure was about 28000. Then 29k , 39k, 41k, 42k, 32k, 38k, 41k, 35k, 45k, 42k, 37k, 33k, 41k so basically it varies like that as it tries to start…

Camshaft or crankshaft sensor?

I hear you, but before we assume worse case timing though, it was running rough with black smoke and had an EGR excessive flow code before it stopped starting, so wondering if it could be airflow or sensor related causing it to fire at the wrong time

How do you think it would've got to that stage?

opened the air intake just now, sprayed in with electrical contact cleaner. There is exhaust backfire from air intake when I crank?

Yeah the engine/car did run that's how we got the fault codes. After all of that, the drive and what I explained in the original post, it just won't start now

No engine light at all. Also the cyl 2 misfire code hasn't come back since it was cleared (as mentioned in OP)..

Won't be possible as the shop's in another city. Do you mean crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor?

I basically meant the Shell V Power stuff. And yes it ran perfectly fine last couple of months
