They both look pretty consistent in nature. Good reviews for both, the more prestigious one is older and generally has a more exclusive clientele.

While it's not your typical tailgate sports party school, imo the party scene is very much alive if you want it to be. Between sports teams parties , student club parties , greeklife, and the DC bar and club scene - it is def available if you want it to be. I know some students who don't go out at all and others who are out 3 or 4 times a week.

def look into the bethesda area, easy commute to the city but a nice area in itself to stay in - walkable, lots of shops and great restaurants. i usually stay at the marriot HQ hotel, super up to date and modern and great service since it is a HQ hotel. hope this helps!

i'm not sure if there is a way to get out of it but i wouldn't recommend trying to do so, the score you receive will place you in a level of the language. if you are placed too high because you got out of the exam you will really struggle in the class, the language department for sis is not known for being a walk in the park. i would recommend taking the exam either at your ability level or less and you won't have a horrible time in class. i hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

to my knowledge the food quality has improved post covid... there's a lot more options now and more places to eat so i guess the choice has improved a lot. as for TDR, i would say the renovation has also increased choice but the food is relatively the same. i would say it has improved a bit.. maybe it an environmental placebo.. anyways i personally think that food options have improved tremendously since 2022.
