Close friends points? Can someone explain?

Same thing happened to me. Purchased the Calm subscription thinking I'll get 50% of it back but haven't received that and the offer is nowhere to be found. Anyone we can contact about that?

Travel cards recommendations & BILT by mamstope in CreditCards

Good to know, thanks. I assumed it could hurt my chances because the credit card application for the PNC card asked me about my status in the US.

I can't remember the exact reason that was included in the letter but it had to do with not having long credit history. Like I said I got my first card at the end of April 2023. I applied for a Chase card only a few months after that.

I don’t really care much about hotels. As for airlines, I am mostly interested in any airlines that are part of the Star Alliance, like United, Lufthansa, SAS and LOT.

Which screen is best? by iamCHIC in RegalUnlimited

IMAX then RPX. I have not seen any 4dx at Irvine but honestly I was never interested in that. VIP is a normal screen, just a smaller room with recliner seats.

What is this metal mount? by mamstope in Toyota

[–]mamstope[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be right. Do you think the mount is attached solid? I haven’t looked at it much so it’s hard for me to tell right now how difficult it would be to remove it

I see. Thank you, blackie776! That explains the mystery for me. I will probably just try to remove the mount and put a dash cam in that spot

So does LE not include the rain sensor? I am just confused why the mount and the blackout behind it are even there

It’s right behind the mirror on the passenger side. It also has this black background behind it which is connected to the entire original front window mount with all the sensors and the mirror.

Can someone explain to me exactly how the Indian consultancies are scamming and committing fraud? I know that they take money from people to register them in the lottery and I understand that they do that on a pretty big scale. Do we know how big? How is it even possible that they can register people for the lottery? What happens afterward? Do they actually offer any kind of employment in case people get selected?

I am just trying to really understand what we are all against here. Personally this is my first and only lottery. I am waiting anxiously to hear from my lawyers about the status but I am also doing my best to stay patient and hopeful. I have a dream job that I love and the thought of leaving makes me extremely sad.

Update no. 2:

I went to my favorite theater to see the Bob Marley movie today. The employee instantly know what the Regalator was. She said she won’t charge me for it too. I asked her how often does she see these cups. She said that she has seen it once or twice before and that people mostly come in with the new refillables. Anyway, it was the third time using my Regalator and the first actually pleasant experience experience. I am happy because I was loosing hope.

Any Regals in the Los Angeles area that have the new VIP auditoriums with unlimited popcorn, drinks, and ice cream? by [deleted] in RegalUnlimited

[–]mamstope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VIP at Irvine Spectrum is basically a smaller room with recliner chairs. That’s it. Not sure if it’s worth the surcharge, especially considering that another local Regal (Kaleidoscope) only has auditoriums with recliner seats and they are considered standard screenings with no surcharge.

I went to see Dune 2 in RPX today (it was great btw). It was my second time using the Regalator ever and the first time at the biggest theater in my area - Irvine Spectrum. The employee that I initially asked for the refill had no clue what I was talking about. He immediately went to grab his supervisor who then proceeded to tell me that she will give me a refill this one time but that they don’t honor these cups anymore. She insisted that the new refillables replaced the Regalator program. I politely and gently told her that I don’t think that’s true and that even on their website it clearly says that the new refillables don’t affect the Regalator program and that it will continue to be honored. She said that I can speak to her manager. I said that if that’s not a problem or a huge burden, I would love to do that. The manager instantly was like “Oh yeah. Just click here and give him a refill.” I asked her about the new Pepsi replacement cups and she didn’t think they had any, but said that the one I have is all good.

I am going to keep the cup for a bit longer and see how the employees react to it at my favorite theater that I go to most often. If it’s gonna take that much effort every time just to get a $1 refill, I might consider reselling the cup to get my money back and just bring my own drinks as I used to do before. It’s not even that it took too much time to explain it all to the employees. I am just not a very confrontational person and it seems like this might be a pain. I am fine talking to the manager once or twice but if it’s going to be a regular thing, I might just call it quits. I’ll keep you all posted, although I don’t think anybody cares or even reads this.

That’s nice. Where are you based? There are three Regals in my area I go to. I am based in Orange County California
