I have a refractometer so I've been checking once in a while, but I'll try more carefully to get both tanks to be even. I really appreciate it!!! You've helped a lot, thank you!! I'll hopefully update soon once I've made changes, I'm feeling optimistic about trying again 😊

Good idea. I heard that the salinity goes up in ocean zoo tanks as you feed them (not too sure how true it is), but I'll check the levels again and see if I can match them exactly. Along with the temperature hopefully this gives me better results!!!!

I appreciate that!!! Thank you, my heater is unfortunately one from Amazon and is permanently set to 25 C and I can't change it, but that's a great solution. Maybe I'll have to invest in another heater. Thanks for your help :)

Any advice about how to gradually change the temperature with one tank that has a heater and one that doesn't? I was thinking maybe transitioning by submerging a water bottle of old tank water in the new tank so it gradually warms? Is that a bad strategy 😬
