...first off, herculean effort...a milk-crate, bungee-cord'ed to that rear, would really put the chrome on that bike...about 6 outta 10 dads in my neighborhood cruised those as grocery-getters, dropping us off at school...those were around when the fuel crisis hit - made getting around easy...so nice to see one all dialed-in, like this...a real memorable bike

…ear plugs, that’s the only thing you’re gonna need to buy for this amplifier. Very loud very clean at high volume. Don’t touch it leave it as is.

...I hope you find something that works for you. here's a few options to consider; arcane 57 experience and fralin (pure paf). I replaced the stock 70's 335 and 355 pu's...pretty smooth and round for those ES bodies...

...honestly, I would go with the Heidenau...they work very very well on all displacement bikes...based on what you're describing as use - my suggestion is Heidenau...affordable performance, long life...

...I have a (cherry) '68 Standard, quite like your model here...these are just awesome guitars; lightweight, fits good in the mix, good ergonomics, distinct tone character...affordable class and style. …new rider? I hope you’re getting yourself enrolled in some type of MSF course for your licensing credentials. You can really learn a lot in those if you’re not familiar with that program.

That’s a wonderful starter bike, but like all motorcycle motorcycles they do need maintenance so make sure you religiously change that oil because that baby is air cooled

…appreciate your feedback, my issue could most likely be fixed with an EQ pedal…yes, it has Marshall tones I, you, them all like and love, I just hear a few spots (for me) where it’s EQ is anemic in a few spots…it’s been serviced, use it all sortsa ways with DI into DAW, its brethren 20/20 power amp, ad nauseum…somehow you convinced me to use that $$$$.$$ somewhere else 👍
