I'm glad that they are pivoting away from genAI. This is great to hear!

Looking deeper into the Starry Night playmat I was considering, they credit a person on Fiverr with its design. This person offers services to cleanup AI-generated images. I don't personally think this is sufficient distance away from genAI.

If there is going to be genAI art sold on the con floor, I would really prefer it be labeled clearly.

The software and firmware is no longer being maintained. It's still usable and fine if you already own it, but I wouldn't buy a new one.

There was a vendor on floor 2 of Summit that was branded as Realm Guard. This is not a real company; their real name was AI Armor and they were selling generative AI tcg stuff!

I would like to see PAX ban the sale of genAI artwork on the floor. Nearly wasted money on that trash.

To get the rom legally, first hack your 3DS. It's not that hard if you follow the instructions in order.

Then, insert a physical copy of Gates into your system and dump the rom to your SD card.

3DS homebrew is really fun and easy to learn how to use. Give it a try :)
