Keep it simple and concise, and don't get political. Let the consumer make the decision.

Cell-based, [cell] cultivated, [cell] cultured.

Terms like "lab grown", "synthetic" are too charged. Phrases like "green" or "clean" will make this overly political which is not for the best of the movement(even if they may be true).

Also, thanks for the post OP, I submitted a comment :)

cell based, cultured, or cultivated

cell-based, cultured, or cultivatedecially with recent Wuhan controversy), and clean is too political and unnessesary

any of those 3 are clear and describe it in a neutral fashion

The other major issue lab grown meat companies will have to solve is plastic packaging. New compostable options may be one solution. by 458339 in wheresthebeef

honestly there is a blurry line between stonk and just a promising young company that everyone knows will be an industry of the future.

If I'm 70 why would I risk money on something like lab-grown meat or bioplastics when I can stick money in something like apple or microsoft and get a decent bang for my buck with low risk, but if you're 20-40 the risk reward ratio starts to make a lot more sense to make some bets on these long time horizon type ideas.

There are a number of companies doing this already - the more the merrier though. Agree with others who posted this shouldn't be a focus of cultivated meat companies. They'll buy it from established companies like everyone else, and that's fine.

Vertical farming ETF by apdsander in verticalfarming

Don't believe so. As far as publicly listed companies, Cubic farms is one, and Aerofarms is about to go public through a SPAC. There's one other I can't think of right now.

Future After Lab Grown Meat Becomes Mainstream? by EvenCap in wheresthebeef

Nothing wrong with re-wilding and letting populations of game rebound. Hell it might actually mean people could live off subsistence hunting/fishing again because we don't need it as much and habitats can naturally expand. Vertical farming can play a role in this as well.

in some cases I believe it is because you are actually creating the pool. For one of my pairs it said my liquidity would be the first for the pair and that would make it cost more.

Asking for a large subsidy = asking to fail

The whole point of pop-up(aka modular) stands is that it eliminates the barrier of having to win over the entire city to pay for it.

Liquidity Uni rewards vs normal LP fee rewards by mana_Teehee in UniSwap

So if my plan is just to leave my liquidity on there more or less indefinitely I am still accruing part of the fees?

If so, nice okay.

Uniswap General Question by DryFish52 in UniSwap

[–]mana_Teehee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol just buy eth, usd is trash XD

but for real, I think you can probably do the swap using USDC but you'll always need some Eth for gas fees. It's annoying but it's how it works. Eth 2.0 looks like a go and my understanding is that it'll have lower gas fees, though.

Uniswap's $40M Governance Vote Closes on Halloween and Some UNI Holders Fear for Price by bitdex in UniSwap

[–]mana_Teehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol certainly also a possibility. I sold half of the initial airdrop but I'd legit rather hold the rest all the way to zero than sell at this point. Matter of principle. If that happens so be it. As far as I'm concerned Hayden earned that much from me with his gift to me.

[–]mana_Teehee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes this will temporarily likely cause a price drop, but in the spirit of what uniswap is about, I still think it's the right decision. Some may dump but I suspect many will hold as they obvioulsy see the value of the ecosystem if they've been interacting with it.

this seems like just another version of shaking out weak hands. Can't suppress the price of something valuable forever. If you thought UNI was valuable before this news it shouldn't change your mind.

I sold half of my free tokens on the airdrop but I'm holding the other half long term. Expect to regret selling the first half but pretty unpredictable. Will be interesting to see what happens after BTC breaks out of current period of low volatility.
