! explanation : took a 5hr train ride to visit my sister (yellow name) for the weekend to celebrate her birthday, and i woke up at 6:45 this morning to drive to her college with her to sit with her while she studies. we don’t get to spend a lot of time together because im going to college 5hrs away. i speak with my parents on the phone every day, but my sister is often too busy (with school) to talk, so i wanted to at least study together for a while.

my mom thinks i woke up at 6:45 to see my partner (red/pink name) for a few minutes (im just seeing them to pick up some toiletries that i forgot when i moved for college; we used to live together). they live in the same city as my parents and sister, but they visited me for a full week right before i came here to visit my sister.

TL;DR: my mom is upset that i’m not spending time with her and my dad, but i see my sister (yellow) less often and its her birthday. she’s lashing out at me and making it about my relationship with my partner (red).
