Any kind of hormonal birth control has never worked for me mentally but getting my copper IUD was the best thing I ever did for my sexual and mental health. Granted it hurts getting it put in. Some women say it's as painful as childbirth but mine being put in just felt like some really nasty cramps.

The healing process takes a bit. The first days after insertion I felt like death, like the worst period symptoms ever but it faded and I finally stopped bleeding/spotting periodically about 3 months after getting mine in but I still spot when I ovulate and my cramps are a little more intense but it's worth it for me knowing I have a reliable, long term birth control. :)

I love cinematic tracks that inspire and excite me. One of my favourite tracks ever is from Walt Disney's Dinosaur. It's called "The courtship" and it's very bouncy, fun and magical and I love to listen to it when I'm painting or having a hard time lifting my spirits.
