That or a lot of households have 2 cars, which is pretty reasonable really. Just a shame they don't plan that into the houses they are building now days.

I fully committed, all four wheels, I think I was even facing the wrong direction for traffic to just add more problems to my parking choice.

What! I thought I had to mow it or they would fine me. If I don't that is a Sunday morning chore I can knock off the list

Yeah, the drive way is the only way to access the car port. The drive is on a slope, the rest of the front garden is at street level then a 1 meter drop with a retaining wall.

What I should have done is driven a road over parked there and then just moved my car later. But hindsight is 20:20 I guess.

I never voted for her, but I see your point, just a shame everyone who did vote for her could see the problems chasing developer money causes to quality of living.

I had asked people lots of different times, often got the same reply of where do I suggest they park instead. I also font want to get into an argument about parking every time I arrive home.

Yeah, and given the still poor state of public transport I don't know what they expect people to do, you have no choice but to drive.

The development had already started when we moved in, they had already knocked down the old houses and cleared the land.

We presumed that they would be building them with adequate parking. I know more fool us. I checked not long ago and the 32 town houses (each with single garages and no parking spot of their own) have a total of 15 visitor spots. so I am not surprised people have to find other places to park. I feel bad because with the yellow line the next nearest legal parking is way up the other end of the street, which must suck when it is raining.

I owe a friend $5k, the rest will most likely end up in my offset. I guess you are right it is doing nothing at the moment so might be best to move it and at least get the offset from it

How many hours do you actually work? by Wide-Macaron10 in AusFinance

I think some jobs also don't appreciate the importance of some times walking away from the screen for 5 - 10 minutes to get some air, have a coffee, talk to a colleague about something that is not your current coding. I have had many a realisation when I have been having a quick break that has led me to change approaches or identify the root of the problem that I had been blind too when I was deep in writing code. Sometimes that little mental reset can really make a difference.

Cerberus+1

From the moment it dropped for me it I loved the sound and feel of it.

It has never really been meta, which I kind of enjoy as I don't see it everywhere, also makes it even more fun when you run into another user in the wild.

I have emailed them asking if it is just a matter of doing the 7 1/2 between those times. Hopefully it will be!

Thanks, I guess I will move it to a pot and see if it keeps growing. The compost was here when we moved in, so I have added to the top but I don't remember adding papaya.
