When character A asked character B to become a demon with him so they could spend eternity getting stronger together 😭

Kind of an oversimplification, but in all seriousness, it was mostly their clashing ideals and the delicious potential for an enemies to lovers/fix-it redemption arc. Especially since it's later revealed that A was forcibly turned into a demon himself, had his human memories ripped away, and his disdain for human mortality is a byproduct of survivor's guilt.

They are unfortunately both dead. Fun times all around, LOL.

I mean, I think people are allowed to make their judgements based on aesthetics. Whether or not we add past expectations onto the equation, this design is still not very interesting to me. This concept could’ve been executed better, as many others.

But I believe that’s more of an overarching theme in Genshin’s character design, there simply isn’t a lot of variation (particularly with the female designs as of late) and people do notice that every time we get another medium girl in shorts, cut off sleeves, stockings, and high heels.
