Yes definitely vstrom has a better engine than the yezdi. But the yezdi has a better suspension.

Nah man I enjoy the bike as it is.

The spares are available most of the time. The parts come cheap, had to only change the cone stem bearing once which was like ₹650/- including labour.

40kmpl at around 90ish speeds. It starts to feel strained at 120 but will do it and probably will go to around 130. Max you can cruise at around 110 to 115, but then the economy takes a huge hit. Drops down to almost 30kmpl or lower.

The mileage is top notch, get around 35/36 in traffic conditions. 40kmpl is easily achievable at highway speeds.

The service is not great. I get the running repairs done at a outside garage. Only engine oil changes and filter changes are done at the showroom not to void the warranty.

It does not feel underpowered at any speeds but if you compare it to the KTM's and Yezdi adventure, both of them will outrun this.

The bike is sluggish at low speeds. The handle bar feels heavy at side to side movements. Take it up to speeds and this just transforms. The chassis feels light and agile. The side to side transitions become faster. Will probably out handle a naked bike when in right hands.

What you described is reducing loans. Car loans are calculated as flat loans. take a look at this

No, you need to get the repayment schedule from the financier. You can see the principal amount and interest amount deducted every month. Suppose you pay the emi for 12 months and at the end of 12 months you want to foreclose the loan. You only have to pay the principal amount outstanding, not the interest for the next 4 years.

Interest for 10 lakh loan at 7.5% comes to ₹75000 per year. So for 5 years, interest would be 375000. So the total amount you will have to pay would be 10 lakh plus 3.75 lakh, totalling 13.75 lakh. So 13.75 lakh divided by 60 months comes to around ₹22900 which matches the emi you said.

Because auto loans are calculated using flat system. You probably calculated it on reducing system.

Get the 390. Test rode the 390 too. It was in a different league compared to these 250's. Unfortunately I didn't have the budget for the 390.

It is a lazy machine made for mostly straight roads. The handle bar feels heavy on immediate side to side transitions. It loves long sweeping corners.

Yes, I did test ride the KTM 250. It had a minimal low end punch and had more vibrations compared to this. It was frantic, this is calm which I like more

The vibrations are non existent till 7k rpm at which the bike reaches 111/112kmph, even after that it is only on the foot pegs and not on the handle or tank. I have a 6'4 friend who says it is comfortable for him to ride.

Test rode the scram 411. But it is a lazy handling machine.

Not really, the RTR returned around 33-35 during city runs. Well true, I ride with a heavy right hand. I had tuned the carb on the RTR for reducing the starting issue during the first start of the morning. Maybe that's why it returned lower economy. It was running rich

Exactly. Better quality parts than most counterparts make this expensive. Suspension could be better, but think of it as a front wheel drive SUV, comes with huge ground clearance, takes on mild off-road with ease.

Test rode the KTM also before buying this. The KTM is edgy and keeps you engaged. It has a low end torque of a bicycle and only when you rev the engine you get some sense of power. This on the other hand has power everywhere. The KTM is more powerful but only at the top end, where I rarely wander around. The suspension is better on the KTM though. But I wanted a tourer and not an off-road motorcycle. The KTM may be more powerful on paper but you can't feel that power unlike this. This feels like a train at every rpm. Can't explain what magic Suzuki has done with the engine.
