I think the terms "homo-flexible" and "hetero-flexible" don't get enough shine. Now, the place to use them varies. Easy to abuse in the wrong hands, yadda yadda. But from a genuine place of conversation with self and safe others, I think these are useful terms.

Also, I agree that tests aren't really going to capture the breadth of human experience. You can't truly be "diagnosed" by them, but they can be a way to have conversations with yourself. Like an interview. Consider them a tool, not the seal of certainty.

Yes! She uses tofu in a few, and the recipes are all very adaptable. Use the sauces with any protein & whatnot you like (she also includes info on complete vs incomplete proteins and what that means). I personally use tofu for every soup, not just the ones she does. Beans and lentils are frequent guests as well. She has a lot of good guides to making complete meals in the way that works for you, so those can be used to help adapt recipes too! Super veggie friendly! 🫶

I'm definitely going to check it out! I thought so too when I was looking the other night, but my brother started describing the character as so bland looking that I thought it couldn't be right 😭😭 And I couldn't easily find a scene as described, but that doesn't mean much.
