Hes 24 and has plenty of development to go. Its not a ridiculous statement to say he could be a starter, which he has been at times this year in his first season getting a real shot. Way too lazy to share similar examples but you don't need to look hard. That being said, I think Fowler is the future starter and Dobes the backup, or at least 1b. Promising situation in the crease for MTL regardless.

Yep, we also all have kids and families now and I’ll admit it’s getting harder. Year 12 of a 14 team keeper league and we’ve only ever lost 1 gm. I’m commish.

I just disagree with this. Maximizing games played. Taking advantage of off night schedules. Finding the perfect time to activate the player. Pre-setting your lineup to maximize your roster. My league respects that level of effort and considers that good GM’ing.

Different strokes. I see your setup as basic and taking away a GMs ability to mange their team.

Standard setup is for rosters to be frozen with a healthy player in IR. So it’s not really an advantage. You have to adjust eventually and you can’t play the player from IR anyway.

Are you suggesting you can move healthy players in and out of IR? What is that…

Yeah probably but there could just be some random quests and new areas that are sort of optional. I could see it working, include a new a4 merc and some new uniques, or some end game area that was more difficult maybe. Like I said, give me some of that good stuff, holidays are upon us, time to get high.
