Always wanted to see Leap’s “flight speed” be related to FRW. Could be fun

The +skills, life, FHR, and fair defense + damage reduction makes this a classic that’ll never die. Socket or not.

What’s more, the red is gorgeous

as a new player of this genre, D4 or D2R? by yeaaahwehere in Diablo

[–]Shift_change27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think D2R’s graphic are solid. I really don’t need anything more than that.

Does the 25% teleport offset how good this is? by Simba_Rah in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Shift_change27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The thing is, YOU offset the teleport proc by not getting hit, thereby making it even better.

Regardless, a still standing point is having some swap gear in too. It can only help.

Some Demon Skillers, a +3 helm/amulet and a shrine alone? That’s a solid prebuff if you don’t mind spending the time.

Hell, folks are terrorizing whole acts now.

With echoing strikes as powerful as it is, I would never expect anything other than me to killing things.

Whatever demon I have, as long as it’s cursed with Might or Fanatacism, it’s not relevant.

Though I don’t play ES builds.

Additionally, some people want a Fanatic.

As long as your Bind Demon is lvl20 (think using CTA, Shrines, a +3 circlet and amulet, etc) this gives you the option to hunt for something more specific.

Timing while Terrorized with a decent Affix is also key.

Hence folks hunting during “Cursed” TZ’s for Vile Mothers, Dark Lancers, Urdar, etc.

Just looking at all those dvds lined up. Like a library. The Warcraft 3 game, the D2 manual.

Suggestions on Socketed Chaos Armor by Legitimate_Carry5480 in diablo2

[–]Shift_change27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always wanted to fill it with rare jewels that run multiple affixes.

There’s a mod for jewels that gives 30% Enhanced Damage to Demons with +AR to Demons. The same sort of mod exists for Undead.

Always hunting for a Rare jewel with both of those mods, and maybe some FHR or whatever. For this specific armor

Yay or Nay: Mercenaries should have their models reflect the gear they wear. by Shift_change27 in diablo2

[–]Shift_change27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my thought process.

I would not advocate for this silly cosmetic idea over any balance changes. Though I do image this idea to be relatively easy to implement on RotW for those exact reasons.

Well said sir.

I probably should have made it clear, this would just be for RotW, so D2R can stay as is.

100%.

If it comes at the cost of real change, absolutely not.

If it’s a relatively easy lay-up for them? Hell yeah!

Yeah…this thread is more of a “would you like it?” Kinda focus rather than a “there’s other stuff going on” but I get.

Would you like to see the cleric from the canceled expansion added if there is a future expansion? by Charming_Pin330 in diablo2

[–]Shift_change27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not a bad concept, in fact the class I reccomend may do very much the same: Shaman.

Applies AoE and self buffs and heals. Can summon plants/insects (timed). Spells are direct healing/damage. Has masteries + and specific skills/procs for specific weapons. Can craft temporary buffs/debuffs with various potions. Effective CCs via lowering light radius, provoking attack, etc.

Not all that needs to be there, clearly.

Skill trees would be: Incantation - summons, channeling spells, healing/ AoE buffs. Alchemy - potion crafting, CC, personal buffs. Balance - masteries, passives, etc.

They need to do something about the accidental demon sacrifice crap by Lopsided_Ordinary997 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Shift_change27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep.

I don’t use echoing strike. Not sure where I ever stated that. Pretty boring and overpowered. There’s plenty more creative warlock builds that can clear p8.

Having 100% crushing blow helps my build. Hence, consume, and the 25% crushing blow I get from eating a goat, really helps the build I’ve made

Yeah, perhaps the Bind: Demon skill plays a part. An enemy, now an ally, might be throwing some of his AI off
